Atlas is a 2023 grade colt. We got him in on a trade, and I need another 2yo like I need a nail through the foot. Atlas is halter broke and has been lightly started - he’s been backed a few times but I would not describe him as under saddle yet. Leads, loads, ties, picks up feet - does all the age appropriate things. Motivated seller that’s very open to offers.

Atlas is small but has impressive foot and bone. I doubt he’ll finish out over 15hh but what do I know about paints? Big bodied, already a tank at this age. Stands correct with a great hip and nicely balanced shoulder. Has too much white for me, but a bay roan paint will definitely make you stand out in a crowd!

Quiet minded colt that’s straightforward and easy to be around. Currently, I do have to catch him with grain but that’s the only hole I’ve found. Travels well, gets along in a herd, been handled correctly. If I didn’t have so many colts on my plate, I’d seriously consider keeping him despite all that white. Great start to him, hasn’t been used and abused, nice clean slate that’s eager to please.

Right now, he is still intact. Price will increase (or at least become less flexible) once I get him gelded, wolf teeth out, and UTD on everything. Can be seen in Bondurant, Iowa.
